Clarifies Payment Of N40, 000
The National Commandant, Nigerian Peace Corps (NPC), Dr Dickson Akoh has expressed optimism that President Buhari would sign the newly passed NPC Bill by the National Assembly.
Akoh, who disclosed this yesterday in Abuja, following the consolidation of the NPC Bill by the Conference Committee of both chambers of the National Assembly said the greatest challenge in the country today is unemployment.
The Peace Corps boss also stressed that the harmonised Bill has finally put to rest all the needless controversies bordering on which organisation’s bill was passed by the National Assembly, adding that the clause which suggested the sister formation of National Unity and Peace Corps was out rightly rejected.
